A banked reset is an option, not free background capacity. Its value depends on urgency, remaining quota, and how close the normal reset is.
The strongest use case
A banked reset is most defensible when urgent work is blocked, remaining quota is nearly empty, and the normal reset is not close enough to wait. That is why the helper gives this condition first priority.
Reasons to preserve it
Saving can be sensible when the weekly reset is close, the task is not urgent, or remaining capacity already supports the planned work.
- Confirm the banked reset exists in your own interface.
- Check whether redemption has an expiry or product-specific condition.
- Do not infer a new banked reset from a broad reset unless the announcement says so.
