How status is determined

The status is deliberately stricter than keyword matching. Explicit evidence, audience, time, freshness, and source health all matter.

Status definitions

Confirmed requires explicit broad reset evidence no more than 48 hours old. Possible is a preview or future signal. No signal requires at least one successful source check within 15 minutes. Stale preserves a known-good snapshot for no more than 24 hours. Unavailable means no valid snapshot remains.

Source handling

Authorized upstream responses are fetched server-side, validated, normalized, deduplicated, and stored. The browser calls only our versioned API. Original evidence links remain visible so readers can inspect the claim.

  • Malformed or oversized responses are rejected.
  • Forecast probabilities never become confirmation evidence.
  • Conflicting scope or time is shown as conflict, not averaged away.
  • Raw payloads are retained temporarily for audits.

Corrections

Retractions remain in history and point to a correction. To report a factual error, email corrections@codexlimitwatch.com with the evidence URL, timestamp, and the field that appears wrong. Never send account credentials or private subscription data.

Always verify account-specific limits in the official product. This site never needs your credentials.
