How to check Codex usage and reset time
Your official usage view answers the private question; this site answers the public one. Use both without confusing account data with broad reset announcements.
Check the official account view first
Open the usage or limits surface available in the signed-in Codex product and identify the active account or workspace. Look for remaining capacity, the window label, and the next reset time. Product navigation can change, so rely on the official interface rather than an old screenshot tutorial.
If more than one counter is visible, note each separately. Combining a weekly percentage and a short-window countdown into one number creates a misleading picture.
Record the minimum useful details
For planning, you need the remaining amount, hours until renewal, and which window the values describe. You do not need to export credentials or connect an unofficial extension.
- Counter or window name
- Remaining percentage or stated capacity
- Full reset date, time, and timezone
- Active plan and workspace context
Compare public reset evidence separately
A sourced public reset can explain an unexpected increase in capacity, but it cannot read your account. Use the homepage to check whether a broad event was announced, then use the original post to confirm audience and rollout language.
Protect private account data
Do not paste API keys, session cookies, billing identifiers, or private workspace screenshots into a tracker. The quota helper on this site accepts only manual planning values and stores them in local browser storage.
